(this is more minor) get the steering wheel controls to consistently work

I have a converted Mercedes sprinter Van. It has a completed solar power system. I need to run a wire from the vans alternator/battery right to the DC load in the back so that the vans engine can also charge the batteries if solar isn’t working. I have included a wiring diagram as well as the vans electrical set up. Everything is done, literally just need a wire run to connect it.
