The hood was installed w/ the wrong ducting. The 8" flexible ducting is not per code & is poorly installed to the existing 7" duct ring. I have existing 7" galvanized ducting in the attic to the roof termination. (Single story house.) The new hood requires 8" ducting to the roof due to the hood's higher cfm's. I'm looking for someone w experience & knowledge to install new galvanized ducting from the hood through the ceiling, into the attic to the roof. I'll need a screened damper on the roof. Can you do this work? Do you have prior experience w/ this type of installation?

Jzones (model V630) dashcam installation - hardwired to fusebox (space 36, I think) - this was a Xmax gift that I was going to DIY and connect to one of my 3 12v receptacles but I found that all are hot and are not connected to the ignition. If I use one of these, I will surely drain my battery. I suspect I need to hardwire using a fuse tap. I can order the hardwire kit online if need be; however the online kit looks to include a lot of unnecessary wires. I would like an estimate...........thank you
