What do Parcel Delivery services include?
Parcel delivery services include collecting your parcel from your home or office, then delivering the package to your specified address. This service is done on the same day express to ensure an urgent box is delivered in only a couple of hours to a local address, or even overnight. Some taskers offer overseas delivery services as well.
Same-Day Delivery
This type of parcel delivery service is also known as local delivery. When you hire taskers to do this service, they collect the parcel at your home or office, then take your package to the specified address. This type of service is best suited for when you don’t have the time or have the means to deliver an essential parcel to a location across town. Same-day delivery is similar to services that do grocery delivery.
Express Delivery
When you need to deliver an essential package or document across town urgently, express delivery is the type of parcel delivery you should use. Taskers take your parcel and get it to its destination straight away; you can expect your package to arrive in 2 to 3 hours from the pickup. This service is best for urgent deliveries like legal documents that must be signed, or orders from customers. Use this service for only the most critical tasks, as these don’t come cheap.
Overnight Delivery
This type of delivery is suited for when you don’t deem the arrival of your parcel as urgent. Overnight or next-day delivery is cheaper than express or same-day delivery and is excellent for delivering bulky items. Usually, taskers inform you of their pickup time, so have your parcel ready by then so they can collect your parcel and delivery can be completed the next day. If you have a business that needs to deliver regularly to specific locations, this can be a valuable service.
Overseas Delivery
Overseas courier delivery is perfect for sending a care package to a friend or relative abroad. This type of delivery can be more cost-efficient, and your parcel can arrive sooner than using the post. Speak to taskers that offer this service before you decide to send via their service so that you're informed of the parcel weights and dimensions, and their corresponding costs.
Parcel Size Options
There are different sizes and limits for different parcels, and these may vary from service to service. Please consult with your taskers about what sizes they can handle as you negotiate. Some standard parcel sizes and their limits are:
- Letter: Max. Length: 24 cm Max. Width: 16.5 cm Max. thickness or depth: 5 mm
- Large letter: Max. Length: 35 cm Max. Width: 25 cm Max. thickness or depth: 2.5 cm
- Small Parcel: Max. Length: 45 cm Max. Width: 35 cm Max. thickness or depth: 16 cm
- Medium Parcel: Max. Length: 61 cm Max. Width: 46 cm Max. thickness or depth: 46 cm
- Large Parcel: Max. Length: 1.5 m Max. Width, and Max. thickness or depth: 3 metres

Collect eBay parcel from Dalston locker and hold until 10 Sept
£30
Hackney, Greater London, E8
6th Sep 2026
I’m currently working at sea and a pair of shoes I ordered has arrived several days earlier than expected, before my return. The parcel is in a locker on Kingsland Rd in Dalston (in Wine Cellar, open 10AM to 10PM) and will be automatically returned to the seller if it isn’t collected by 11:30AM Monday morning. I can provide the collection QR code/PIN privately once the task is assigned. (The parcel is just a pair of shoes bought through eBay.) I need someone to: * collect the parcel from the locker before the deadline; * keep it somewhere safe; * either deliver it to me in London on the morning of 10 September, or let me collect it from you that day. Happy to work around whichever of those two options is easiest. I can provide the order/collection confirmation as well if helpful.
