Handyman Needed – Install Locks on 2 Internal Doors I’m looking for a handyman to supply and install locks/latches on 2 internal doors in my flat. The doors currently have standard lever handles fitted (see photos). One door appears to be missing part of the existing latch mechanism, so I’d like both doors assessed and fitted with suitable locking mechanisms. Job includes: * Assessing the existing doors and hardware * Supplying any required locks/latches and fittings (or advising what to buy) * Installing locks on 2 internal doors * Ensuring doors open, close and lock properly * Tidying up any minor cosmetic issues around the lock area if needed Location: Brixton, London Please quote for: * Labour only (if I provide the locks) * Labour + materials (if you supply everything) Ideally looking for someone experienced with door hardware and available in the next few days. Need a handyman/carpenter to install a keyed lock on an internal storage room door. Existing door has a standard lever handle and tubular latch. I have purchased a complete euro lock handle, sash lock and cylinder set. Installation will require enlarging the latch mortice and drilling for the cylinder.

I need all doors handles replaced and door latches replaced only thing I require please have all the tools needed as I have none. Only if you know what you’re doing you may need to make new holes in the door to fit the latches. 7 doors total. Only 2 which will need a chisel/drill.

Door lock adjustment + lock replacement – bedroom door The latch on my bedroom door is misaligned with the strike plate, so the door won’t latch/close properly. I require the following jobs done at a terrace house in Peckham Rye: 1. Front door: replace the existing main door dead/mortice lock with a lock that can be opened from the inside without use of a key, i.e. thumb turn. Ideally, please provide 1 key per tenant, plus 1 spare for the agent = total of 5 keys. If you cannot do this, please let me know how many keys you can provide and I will arrange with the tenants to organise additional copies. 2. Bedrooms: neatly fill all bedroom door keyholes with a solid filler to ensure that the locks are rendered permanently inoperable. There are 3 bedrooms but I don't recall if they all have keyholes, there might just be two. 3. Bathrooms: remove the latches on the upstairs and downstairs bathroom doors and add a privacy lock which can be operated by thumb-turn mechanism alone. There are 2 bathrooms with one door each. I have photos of some but not all the doors in question (apologies for the poor quality one, this is a screenshot from a video I took of the middle bedroom). EDIT: I would need you to provide all materials. You will need to coordinate with the tenants for access at a mutually convenient time. I will put you in touch once the job is allocated.
