Homcom elderly recliner chair, bought new from Amazon on January 2024, I connected together with instructions, don’t work, so hired a professional to look over, his advice..motor needs repair or replacement, ordered a new motor replacement and replaced, the remote control was also replaced? Still no joy? It’s taken 6 months from new to now. So if anyone can put this issue to bed, you would make a 80yr old mother happy and allow me to carry on with my life.

I have a fifteen month old 'Oscar' manual reclining chair. One of the kids has jumped on the back of it and over-extended it. No visible broken parts or damage, but I can not work out how to restore the seating mechanism. The hinges in these pictures should be 90- degrees more vertical.
