Tools and equipment

When you get a Tasker to do power shower installation, you won’t need to prepare your own toolkit or drive to the hardware to get tools like a drill, pipe cutter, masonry bit, and so on. Your Tasker arrives with all the equipment they’ll need. And if necessary, they’ll be the ones to run down to the story before or during the course of the job.

Electric shower installation

Electric shower installation starts with you pointing out the unit and where you want it installed. You’ll want to specify your desired height for the shower, especially if you have kids in the family or if anyone is particularly tall or petite. 

Then, the electric shower installation specialist assesses if the water supply to that area is enough for the device (usually a mains cold water supply with a 15 mm diameter pipe). They’ll mark holes in the wall, drill them, then bore a hole for a copper branch pipe. This pipe will connect the showerhead to the main water valve. Then, the Tasker cuts the pipe and inserts it into the hole, attaches a stopcock and T-joint, and attaches the shower onto the wall.  

The next part is the electric component: the Tasker bores a hole in the ceiling and runs a circuit cable through it. They’ll fix and connect the wires - a process which includes stripping cables and using wire sleeving. Finally, the Tasker connects the wires and links them to the terminal. They’ll check if the shower is running smoothly, have you test it yourself, and voila! Your electric shower is now ready for use.
