Task Overview: Looking for a reliable, respectful handyman to swap out an old bed for a new one at a flat in Leeds (LS11). This is for an elderly, semi-disabled tenant, so clear communication and close attention to property security are required. What needs to be done: Remove Old Bed: Disassemble the old double bed frame/base and carry both the old base and mattress down to the building's basement storage area. Bring New Items Up: If the couriers have left the new deliveries in the ground-floor reception area, please carry them up to the flat. The items are 1 flat-pack bed frame box (VASAGLE) and 1 vacuum-rolled mattress box. Assemble New Bed: Build the new metal bed frame in the bedroom and unroll the new mattress onto it. Clean Up: Neatly stack the cardboard packaging inside the flat so it isn’t a tripping hazard for the tenant. ⚠️ CRITICAL SECURITY REQUIREMENT: The tenant occasionally forgets to close doors, and the building has a history of parcel theft. Before you leave the property, you must visually check and ensure that both the tenant’s individual flat door and the building's main communal entrance door are completely closed and securely locked shut. Tools & Timing: Please bring standard tools (screwdriver/allen keys) just in case. We are scheduling the purchase to align with your availability, aiming for a 2-hour window. Need to move my stuff from 8th floor to basement into my van. 8-12 boxes weighing around 4-5 kgs. There’s a lift to make it easy. Required for 1 hours might be less than that in between 11 am to 12 pm on 6 December
