I want a front door handle and lock installed so I can open and lock the door with a key from both sides. We will supply the locks. Due to our DIY failed efforts, the door frame needs to be built back a bit with extra wood/ filler- we have the wood. I’ll paint. Need a handyman/carpenter to install a keyed lock on an internal storage room door. Existing door has a standard lever handle and tubular latch. I have purchased a complete euro lock handle, sash lock and cylinder set. Installation will require enlarging the latch mortice and drilling for the cylinder.

I need all doors handles replaced and door latches replaced only thing I require please have all the tools needed as I have none. Only if you know what you’re doing you may need to make new holes in the door to fit the latches. 7 doors total. Only 2 which will need a chisel/drill.

I need someone experienced with smart/electronic door locks to inspect and fix a newly installed Splenssy / Tuya smart door lock at my property in IG11 today. The lock has already been installed, but the door is unlocking when it should stay locked, so I need someone who understands both the mechanical fitting and the smart lock setup/configuration to properly diagnose and fix the issue. I require the following jobs done at a terrace house in Peckham Rye: 1. Front door: replace the existing main door dead/mortice lock with a lock that can be opened from the inside without use of a key, i.e. thumb turn. Ideally, please provide 1 key per tenant, plus 1 spare for the agent = total of 5 keys. If you cannot do this, please let me know how many keys you can provide and I will arrange with the tenants to organise additional copies. 2. Bedrooms: neatly fill all bedroom door keyholes with a solid filler to ensure that the locks are rendered permanently inoperable. Bathrooms: remove the latches on the upstairs and downstairs bathroom doors and add a privacy lock which can be operated by thumb-turn mechanism alone. There are 2 bathrooms with one door each.
