I need an experienced builder or tradie to help me estimate the cost of home improvements to a 70 year old brick house. This will help me get a loan from the bank. It's not a quote. Just need to know how much to allocate for things like fixing the roof, adding ramps, re-wiring the house, fixing the plumbing, and so on. There are 10-15 jobs to do and I need a rough estimate which I can submit to the bank. For example, 'fix leaks in roof' might be $20-$50K. That's it - no details needed, no inspection needed. Description: Looking for an experienced electronics technician to repair/service broadcast video camera zoom and focus demand controllers. The equipment: Canon ZDJ-A01 zoom demands and similar focus controllers Used for professional broadcast camera lens control Analog units with PCBs and specialised potentiometers The problem: Worn potentiometers causing dead spots and erratic response Self-centering mechanism not returning to neutral properly Need diagnosis and likely potentiometer replacement Skills needed: Component-level PCB soldering/desoldering Experience with potentiometers (ideally self-centering/joystick style pots) Ability to source replacement components or work with what I provide Multimeter diagnosis skills Ideal candidate: Background in electronics repair, broadcast equipment, or similar Experience with analog control systems a plus Someone who enjoys a challenge with older specialised gear I have multiple units needing attention.
