We're a home repair company based in Dartford covering SE London and surrounding areas. Business has been picking up, we've been getting steady work across tap replacements, toilet repairs, radiator installs, leaking pipes, bathroom fits, and general plumbing maintenance — and we need a couple of reliable, plumbers to help take on the overflow. This isn't full-time employment. It's subcontractor work on a job-by-job basis. We manage the customers, book the jobs, and handle all comms, you just turn up and do the work. Jobs are priced on a set price list (labour only, parts billed separately). What you'll need: - Own tools and transport - Public liability insurance (minimum £1m) - Gas Safe registration if you cover boiler/gas work (not essential) - Reliable, presentable, and comfortable working in customers' homes - Able to take before/after photos for our reporting process Typical jobs: - Tap & toilet repairs and replacements - Radiator installs and bleeds - Leak diagnosis and pipe repairs - Bathroom and kitchen plumbing - Stopcock and valve replacements - General plumbing maintenance If this sounds like something you'd be up for, reply to this listing and I'll be in touch. I have a first-floor uPVC bay window that has shifted slightly (approx. 5-10mm slump) due to the weight of internal shutters. The window is now un-level and has pulled away from the external render beads. The Job: Mechanical Anchoring: Use 180mm (or appropriate length) masonry frame fixings to bolt the uPVC frame back into the brickwork/lintel to stop any further movement. Leveling: Check the frame with a spirit level to ensure it is stabilized. External Sealing: Apply a high-quality external silicone (e.g., Dowsil 791 White) to the gap between the window frame and the render bead to make it watertight.
