The bolt lock on the front door is stiff - when you put the key in, you can lock it, but not unlock it (the key simply won’t turn and the bolt won’t withdraw/unlock). So it needs to be investigated and either fixed or replaced. It has been stiff like this for a couple of years and tested by lots of people. The cause of the stiffness is unknown. The front door is for an apartment (2nd floor of a purpose-built apartment block).

Looking for an experienced electrician/handyperson to help update several light fittings in a one-bed flat. Tasks include replacing existing multi-arm ceiling lights in the living room, bedroom, and kitchen with simple single pendant fittings.
