The old boxing had to be removed due to damp and a leak, some parts of the old boxing still need removing and I would like it reboxed in. I do not have any of the wood needed but can get it once I know what’s needed. I am unsure how much this would cost for somebody to do so put £150 but open to any offers

I’m looking for an experienced handyman or window specialist to repair and restore multiple timber-framed double-glazed sash windows in my flat (total windows: 8) The windows are functional but show signs of wear, moisture exposure, and cosmetic damage. Issues identified: Cracks and gaps between window frames and walls Failed/deteriorated sealant (internal and some accessible external edges) Cracked window sills and boards Open joints and minor timber decay Mould growth and moisture staining (mainly lower corners/sills) Peeling/flaking paint exposing timber Scope of work: Remove and replace defective sealant Defog two sash windows Fill cracks and repair joints in timber Treat minor timber decay where present Remove mould and apply anti-mould treatment Sand and prepare all affected areas Prime and repaint any sanded/repaired sections for a clean finish Ensure windows are sealed against drafts and moisture Requirements: Experience with timber sash windows Able to handle repair + prep + painting Own tools/materials (please confirm paint type/finish) Clean, tidy, professional finish 📸 Please include examples of similar work.

The extractor fan for the bathroom doesn’t seem to be working which’s causing humidity to form in the adjacent bedroom (mould spores under mattress as a result). Need the extractor fan to be functional & to turn off with a timer. I’m not sure exactly where it’s located though. (Flat is currently tenanted- so sadly I can’t be there to assist). Hot water temperature needs to be adjusted in the shower… Tenants are saying that the water is scolding hot.
