I am looking for an experienced web designer to rebuild my current website, Academis.com.au, onto a user-friendly platform (preferably Wix, open to WordPress or anything else). The Current Situation: My existing website is a custom-coded web app (Vue.js/Quasar). I do not have access to the backend code, and it cannot be edited. • The Task: You cannot "export" the old site. You must manually copy the text and images from the live URL and recreate the layout from scratch on the new platform. • The Goal: I need full ownership and the ability to easily edit text and images myself once you are finished. The Design Aesthetic: I do not want a generic "education" template. The new site must look: • Wealthy & Smart: High-end, trustworthy, and prestigious. • Aesthetic: Clean lines, minimalist, plenty of white space. • Visual Reference: Please view the current site (www.academis.com.au) – I want to keep the branding but elevate the feel to be more premium. Scope of Work: 1. Platform Setup: Set up a fresh Wix (or WordPress) site. 2. Migration: Manually transfer all content (text, services, tutor profiles) from the current site. 3. Design Polish: Ensure fonts, spacing, and mobile responsiveness are perfect. 4. SEO Preservation: Ensure URL structures remain similar or set up 301 redirects so I don't lose Google ranking. 5. Handover: Connect my domain (academis.com.au) and show me how to make simple edits. Requirements: • Proven experience with Wix Studio or WordPress Elementor. • Strong portfolio showing "aesthetic" or luxury-style websites. • Fluent in English (British/Australian spelling is a must). • Ability to work with existing assets (logos/images) from the live site. We are launching runningawards.com.au and need a technical Squarespace expert with a strong design eye to stand up an MVP (Minimum Viable Product). We have used Squarespace before but are short on time; we need a "seasoned" pro who can handle the back-end plumbing and front-end aesthetics quickly. MVP Website Build: * Develop a clean, athletic, and high-energy Squarespace site. Core Functionality: Embed a provided Google Form as the primary "scoring/nomination" engine. Ensure the design is responsive and professional, setting the foundation for a larger build in Year 2.
