I recently ordered a new bathroom radiator, I thought is was a like for like replacement for the original radiator, but it turns out the design has changed and the mounting points and inlet/outlet centres have changed. With that, I need someone to help me do the following: Drill two new holes in the wall tiles for the bottom wall mounts, as these no longer line up. Fill the old holes. Reposition existing valves to align with radiator inlet and outlet Install new radiator tails (I have tails, but they may not be the best option for this scenario) Fit radiator back on wall, add inhibitor (to be included in quote), repressurise and bleed. The original centres were 470mm and now they are 450mm. Also the wall mounts now make the radiator sit about 10 to 15 mm further out from the wall.

I’m looking for an experienced plumber/electric water-heater engineer to inspect and service a Stiebel Eltron DCE-X 10/12 instantaneous electric water heater in my apartment. The unit supplies hot water to the shower and kitchen. The shower has never performed as well as expected: the hot-water flow rate seems low and the temperature/performance isn’t particularly good. Before considering replacing the system, I’d like someone to properly diagnose it and establish whether: * The DCE-X 10/12 has been installed and commissioned correctly * The unit is operating at its correct power/output * There are any restrictions, filters, valves or installation issues reducing the flow * It requires servicing/descaling/cleaning * The shower thermostatic mixer/valve could instead be causing the poor flow or temperature * The incoming and outgoing water flow/temperature are consistent with what this model should actually deliver Ideally I’m looking for someone who has specific experience with Stiebel Eltron instantaneous electric water heaters or similar high-powered instantaneous systems, rather than just general plumbing experience. The aim is to properly diagnose the existing installation and get the best possible performance from it before I decide whether to replace it with a different hot-water system.
