Handy Man Needed – Fix Constantly Running Toilet (Budget £100) I need a handy man to fix a leaking toilet in my upstairs bathroom in Wembley. Water is continuously running inside the toilet, even when it's not being used, and it's causing my water bills to become extremely high. I have a video showing the problem, which I can share. What I need: - Identify exactly what's causing the water to run continuously. - Repair or replace the faulty part (possibly the flush valve, inlet valve or seal). - Make sure the water stops running completely when the toilet isn't being flushed. - Test the toilet properly after the repair to confirm the leak is fixed. Budget: £100 for labour. I will pay separately for any replacement parts required. Please let me know what parts are needed before purchasing anything. Ideally, I'd like someone to come today or as soon as possible, as the leak is wasting a lot of water. Please only make an offer if you have experience repairing toilet cisterns and can complete the job properly. Location: Wembley, London.

Porcelanosa/Noken panel with three knobs, see photos. Knobs have become very tight, difficult to turn. Knobs not held in with screws. I think model number is 100140559, The diverter handle has become very stiff and the bath flow control is also quite stiff, although both still work. I suspect the diverter and flow cartridges need servicing or replacement. I have bought new cartridges should they need to be replaced.

Hi, I have a shower tray that was installed directly on the floor, and I suspect it wasn't done correctly. I am experiencing bad smells coming from the drain and I am worried about water leaks underneath. I need someone to inspect the plumbing connection to check if the waste trap is working correctly or if there is a double-trap issue. I also need to verify if the tray was properly sealed with flexible adhesive and if a waterproofing membrane was used underneath. You might need to lift the tray to fix the seals and the drainage. I didn’t know what to put in the price so is obviously negotiable

"I need a washing machine installed in a challenging bathroom layout. The job requires physically lifting the machine over a [bath/toilet/vanity] into its final position. This is a two-person lift and requires protective padding/straps so the bathroom ceramics do not get damaged. Plumbing lines are already in place."

Hi, I'm looking for an experienced plumber or handyperson to fix a wall-hung toilet with a concealed cistern that won't stop leaking water into the bowl. It looks like the cistern keeps running or trickling after flushing. The cistern sits behind a chrome dual-flush plate mounted in a tiled boxed-in wall, so it will need to be accessed through the flush plate opening. I believe it's a Geberit or Grohe system, but I haven't confirmed the model yet. What I need: Access the cistern via the flush plate Diagnose the cause (likely a worn or limescaled flush valve seal, or a fill valve not shutting off) Replace the faulty part(s) and test thoroughly Refit the flush plate neatly without damaging the chrome or tiles Please bring common seals and fill valves for Geberit and Grohe concealed cisterns if possible, so the job can ideally be done in one visit. If parts need ordering, please let me know the cost upfront. Details: Location: Colindale, NW9 Flat, easy access, toilet is in a small bathroom Photos available on request Flexible on timing, ideally evenings or weekends
