I am looking for an experienced handyman or blind/awning installer to help shade my west-facing flat balcony to protect from the summer heatwaves. Because I rent the property, the solution must be cause zero damage to the building facade. My balcony ceiling features exposed structural metal beams/joists, and the bottom is a standard metal railing. I would like a professional to come out, inspect the metal beams, verify the exact measurements needed, and help me decide on the best retractable product to buy (such as a beam-clamp vertical roller blind or a telescopic awning). Once the product arrives, I will have you back to carry out the installation. Requirements: - Must have experience with outdoor blinds, awnings, or balcony setups. - Must bring your own tools, measuring tapes, and appropriate ladders for overhead work. - Experience with temporary, damage-free clamping or tension mechanisms is a massive plus.
