Hi everyone, I apologize for not following through with the hiring process for the task I posted last year; some unfortunate personal circumstances prevented me from moving forward at that time. I am now ready to proceed and would preferably like this fixed by the end of this month. The paling fence on my property was damaged during a storm last year. High winds caused the eastern side of the fence to lean dangerously toward the common driveway. As an emergency measure, I’ve used about 10 steel fence posts to prop it up and prevent it from collapsing. Additionally, the concrete foundation for the side gate anchor post has split in two, and the latch was ripped off. I’ve had a few contractors look at it, and it appears some of the original wooden posts have rot at the base. While some suggested replacing the entire section, I believe the rest of the fence is in good condition and can be repaired by adding new posts. Because there is limited space between the fence and the retaining wall, wooden posts can only fit on the inside. However, one contractor suggested that galvanized steel posts could be installed on the outside since they are thinner. I would like to move forward with installing approximately 7~8 galvanized steel posts on the outside to secure the structure. I would appreciate it if you could visit for an accurate quote. If that isn’t feasible, an approximate estimate for the fence and side gate repair (including the concrete foundation) based on the attached photos would be great. Thanks!

Looking for someone to finish our 1.8m Lapped and Capped timber fence on top of a retaining wall as soon as possible. The previous contractor is unable to complete it due to a personal matter, so will be taking over a job halfway. All materials and hardware are already sitting on site (100x100mm posts, rails, palings, T-Blades, rods, bolts, and chemset). This is currently where it's at for the 52m total: • 14.8m: Bracket prep done (holes drilled and T-Blades chemset in). • 23.2m: Holes are drilled, but T-Blades still need to be chemset. • 14.0m: Needs holes drilled and T-blades chemset. • Timber: The entire 52m needs the timber posts slotted/ bolted to the brackets and the fence built. Looking for labour-only quotes.
