I have a broken manhole/drain cover in my block-paved driveway that needs replacing. I have already purchased a new 600 x 450 mm 5-ton galvanised manhole cover and frame (Clark Drain). The old cast iron frame will need to be removed and the new frame installed. • Remove existing broken cover and metal frame • Prepare opening (may require breaking out a small amount of surrounding mortar) • Install and level new frame • Bed in securely with mortar • Ensure new cover sits flush and stable with surrounding block paving You will need to bring tools and any additional materials (e.g. mortar)
