Help needed moving a large vintage wardrobe into a bedroom I need 2 experienced furniture movers to manoeuvre a large, heavy 1930s wooden wardrobe through my entrance and around a tight corridor corner into a bedroom. No stairs involved. Wardrobe dimensions: 178 cm high × 110 cm wide × 47 cm deep Access dimensions: • Entrance door: 81 cm wide • Ceiling height: 210 cm • Narrow section/corner immediately inside entrance: approx. 85 cm wide • Main corridor: 100 cm wide According to AI...The wardrobe will fit through the entrance door on its 47 cm depth, but the main challenge is negotiating the right-angle turn into the corridor. The expected method is to bring it through upright/on its narrow side, move it sufficiently inside the entrance, then carefully tilt and rotate it using the ceiling height to get the 110 cm width around the corner. The diagonal across the 178 × 110 cm face is approximately 209 cm, versus a 210 cm ceiling, so clearance is very tight. I need people experienced with moving large/heavy furniture in restricted spaces, ideally with lifting straps and protection for the floor, walls and ceiling. The wardrobe is vintage, so it also needs to be handled carefully. I can provide photos of the wardrobe and entrance/corridor before you accept the job.
