I am currently overseas and actively searching for long-term accommodation. As I am unable to attend inspections in person, I need someone who can represent me professionally and provide a thorough and honest assessment of each property. The task involves attending scheduled inspections (typically 20–40 minutes), taking clear photos and short videos of all rooms, and carefully checking the overall condition of the property. This includes inspecting walls, ceilings, flooring, windows, kitchen appliances, bathrooms, storage areas, and balconies (if applicable). You should also look for any signs of mould, dampness, cracks, water damage or maintenance concerns. In addition, I would appreciate feedback on natural light, ventilation, noise levels, building security, and the general condition of common areas. If appropriate, you may ask the property manager basic questions about lease terms, utilities, building issues, or anything relevant to tenancy. After the inspection, I will require a brief but structured summary outlining your honest opinion of the property and whether it is worth proceeding with. Punctuality, professionalism, and strong attention to detail are essential, as I will be making rental decisions based entirely on your assessment. Ongoing inspections may be required over several weeks until a suitable property is secured. I am willing to pay $55 per inspection. I am also happy to contribute towards fuel costs if the property requires driving a reasonable distance from your current residence.
