Hello, I have adjusted the job slightly and revised the budget to £120 for labour only. Previous bidders are very welcome to update their offers based on this full scope! uPVC Window Repair (Hinges, Locking Mechanism & Seal) Looking for a local window specialist or experienced handyman to repair a single uPVC window that is jammed and won’t close properly. The Full Scope of Work: Mechanism & Handle: The handle is jammed/not working. It likely needs a new internal espag locking mechanism/rod or full realignment. Hinges: The window has dropped out of alignment and will likely require a new pair of uPVC friction stay hinges. Seal: The rubber gasket seal has come loose and needs replacing as very old and worn. Budget Update: I have adjusted the budget to £120 (labour only) to better reflect a comprehensive repair and mechanism swap, as my initial post was a bit too high. Parts: I will pay for the exact cost of the required parts (new hinges, locking rod, or handle) on top of this labour budget upon viewing a store receipt. Original post: A uPVC window won’t close and is jammed open. The handle doesn’t turn properly either. Probably needs new seal and maybe hinge, maybe lock. Really needs someone who understands these kinds of windows and someone to assess the problem before working out replacement parts etc

Description: I need help completing and installing my IKEA PAX wardrobes. For Wednesday 30th September, I need the following jobs done early in the morning. I’ve added pictures showing what I need doing: • Living room Window privacy stickers to be fitted. • Remove the TV bracket that is already on the TV and fit the new bracket on wall and tv. • Fix one wall divider. If it is too short, please fix the other wall divider as well. • Fit 2 floor thresholds on the floor on the 2 doorways. • Fix the same 2 doors where they close, as they keep opening again when you try to close them. • Fix the wardrobe side hanger shown in the photo, as it is currently slanted. • Assemble and fit a new wardrobe, 40cm wide. The wardrobe is being delivered on Tuesday 29th September anytime between 7am and 7pm • Fit new shower head. I’ll put as much information as I can in the description and photos, and I’ll also explain everything again when you arrive at my flat so you know exactly what needs doing. Looking for an experienced carpenter or handyman to design and build custom shelving for two under-eaves loft storage spaces, as well as replace two existing access doors in the same room.Job Details: General Storage Space: - Install custom shelving along the walls to optimize storage capacity within the angled roof profile. - See attached photo reference (storage-1.jpg, storage-2.jpg) and video (storage.mp4). Shoe Storage Space: - Design and install an effective shelving layout optimized primarily for shoe storage. - Open to your proposals on the best structure given the sloped ceiling. - See attached photo references (storage-shoes-1.jpg to 3.jpg). Door Replacements (2 Doors Total): - Replace the current framed access door (storage-shoes-door.jpg) and a second identical framed access door in the same room with modern, flush-to-the-wall / concealed-frame doors (push-to-open preferred) so both sit completely seamless with the wall surface. Requirements: - Supply materials or advise on exact specs required. - Bring your own tools and ensure high attention to detail. - Previous experience with bespoke loft/eaves storage and flush door framing preferred.
