I’m looking for an experienced decorator/plasterer to prepare a chimney breast ready for a painting. A new electric fireplace has recently been installed, leaving an area of fresh plaster around the fireplace opening. The job is to: -Fill and feather the repaired area around the fireplace. -Make the front of the chimney breast smooth (currently in good condition) -Sand to a high-quality finish -Apply Primer and Limewash Prep Coat (materials supplied) Chimney breast dimensions: • Height: 215 cm • Width: 140 cm • Side returns: approximately 80 cm I’m looking for someone with a good eye for detail, as the final finish will be a premium Bauwerk limewash and the quality of the preparation is very important.

The door also needs attention — it's not sturdy and doesn't close properly. It may need re-hanging, new hinges, or hardware adjustment so it seals and latches securely.
