We are a small Not-for-Profit operating between Australia and Papua New Guinea. We need an Australian-registered Accountant or Xero Certified Specialist to help us transition to a new Xero file and provide remote training and operational advice for our team. Important: This project is donor-funded. You must be able to provide a legitimate Tax Invoice with an ABN for our acquittal. Scope of Work: Archive Old Account: Assist in exporting and archiving all data from our previous AUD Xero account for audit purposes so we can close the old subscription. File Setup & Health Check: Review our new Kina (PGK) file to ensure multicurrency settings (PGK/AUD), chart of accounts, and tracking categories are configured correctly for a 2026 start. Live Training & Advisory (Online): Provide remote training for our local Programs Manager (a Xero beginner) on the live file, while advising us on the best ways to operate financially between PNG and Australia. Key Training & Advisory Topics: Operational Advice: Guidance on the best way to structure our cross-border workflows to keep things simple, efficient, and compliant. Day-to-day management: Bank reconciliations and data entry. Receipts: Managing receipts via Xero’s mobile/automated tools. Grant Tracking: Using Tracking Categories to monitor specific grant spend. Budgeting: Entering simple budgets and running "Budget vs Actual" reports. Requirements: Australian Registered Accountant or Xero Certified Advisor. Must provide a Tax Invoice and ABN. Experience with multicurrency and Not-for-Profit tracking. Patient, clear communication style for training a beginner. Timeframe: Looking to start as soon as possible.

I have lodged an appeal yet don't want to proceed and both parties are open to liaising to finalise terms. Essentially I've been ordered to exit and the landlords have been ordered to pay abatement. They are questioning the abatement amount and we say that given the landlords entered into renewed lease last year the lease stands. They won't do repairs (roof leaking and no air conditioning and all windows painted shut). I need help from someone who has extensive experience and empathy.
