Paint exterior of maisonette – full preparation & repainting Exterior painting required on the maisonette shown in the photos. The existing red paint is faded/flaking in places, so I’m looking for someone experienced with exterior painting who can properly prepare the surfaces before repainting. Work required: * Scrape/sand down loose or flaking existing paint * Fill/prepare surfaces where required * Repaint all of the currently red-painted exterior areas in grey * Refresh/repaint the existing white-painted exterior areas in white * Two coats where required for a clean, durable finish The grey colour is likely to be Sandtex Plymouth Grey, although the exact paint/colour will be confirmed before work starts. I will supply the paint. Exact quantities can be agreed with the painter beforehand. The work includes the exterior walls around the entrance and stairs, first-floor balcony/parapet areas and the other painted masonry visible in the photos. Looking for someone who can provide a neat, professional and durable finish rather than simply painting over the existing surfaces. Budget around £700, but happy to consider offers roughly £600–£800 depending on experience, reviews, preparation required and what is included. Free parking available. I’m looking for someone to clean, clear, prepare and repaint a small lower-ground entrance/patio area in Croydon. The area is currently quite neglected, with weeds, rubbish, old pots/items, dirt, algae/mould staining and flaking exterior paint. I would like it restored so that it looks clean, bright, white and presentable again. Work required * Remove all rubbish, loose debris, unwanted pots/items and dead vegetation * Remove weeds growing from the ground, cracks and edges * Clear and tidy the whole entrance/patio area * Remove/dispose of any rotten wood or remaining damaged outdoor step material * Thoroughly clean the floors, stairs and walls * Pressure wash / jet wash suitable surfaces where safe to do so * Treat and remove algae, moss and dark staining where possible * Scrape off all loose, peeling or flaking exterior paint * Carry out minor filling/patching of small cracks or damaged render where needed before painting * Prime any bare/problem areas if required * Repaint the masonry walls with suitable exterior masonry paint, ideally two coats where needed * Refresh/repaint the existing dark/black stair and floor surfaces where appropriate * Touch up the black metal railing if needed * Leave the area completely clean and tidy * Remove and dispose of all waste generated from the work Important I do not want the walls simply painted over in their current condition. Loose/flaking paint should be properly scraped and prepared first so the new paint lasts. The aim is not a major renovation — simply to make the entrance look fresh, white, clean, weed-free and well maintained, ready for a couple of outdoor plants afterwards. Please include in your offer: * whether labour, materials and paint are included; * whether you have your own pressure washer/tools; * whether waste removal is included; * how long you expect the work to take; * your total estimated price.

Looking for an experienced painter/decorator to repaint a 2-bedroom flat. The areas to be painted include: * Living room * Hallway/lobby * 2 bedrooms * 2 bathrooms Walls and ceilings: We would like all walls and ceilings repainted. Most of the flat is currently white (Dulux Matt White) and we would like to keep the same white colour. For both bedrooms: * All four walls to be painted Dulux Almond White * Bedroom ceilings to remain Dulux Matt white Doors and skirting: We would also like the internal doors (x6), door frames and skirting boards repainted in white (Dulux Eggshell white). Balcony: Separately, the balcony has a wooden floor/decking which we would like treated with a suitable waterproof/protective coating for exterior wood. The job should include normal preparation where required, such as filling existing holes, light sanding, surface preparation, protecting floors/fittings and applying primer where necessary. Please provide labour charges only with paint brushes included. I will provide paint and materials. Photos are attached to give an idea of the size and current condition of the flat. Thanks.

I’m looking for an experienced painter/decorator or sash window specialist to repair and repaint the exterior of my sash windows. The paint is peeling in several areas and will need to be properly prepared (scraped, sanded, primed where necessary) before repainting to ensure a long-lasting finish. Some windows are at height, so scaffolding or another safe access solution may be required. Please advise what you recommend and whether you can arrange this as part of the job. Please include: * Your experience with exterior sash window restoration/painting * Whether you can provide scaffolding or access equipment * Whether materials are included * An estimated timeframe for completion Happy to provide photos or arrange site visit to help with an accurate quote.
