I am looking for an experienced web designer to rebuild my current website, Academis.com.au, onto a user-friendly platform (preferably Wix, open to WordPress or anything else). The Current Situation: My existing website is a custom-coded web app (Vue.js/Quasar). I do not have access to the backend code, and it cannot be edited. • The Task: You cannot "export" the old site. You must manually copy the text and images from the live URL and recreate the layout from scratch on the new platform. • The Goal: I need full ownership and the ability to easily edit text and images myself once you are finished. The Design Aesthetic: I do not want a generic "education" template. The new site must look: • Wealthy & Smart: High-end, trustworthy, and prestigious. • Aesthetic: Clean lines, minimalist, plenty of white space. • Visual Reference: Please view the current site (www.academis.com.au) – I want to keep the branding but elevate the feel to be more premium. Scope of Work: 1. Platform Setup: Set up a fresh Wix (or WordPress) site. 2. Migration: Manually transfer all content (text, services, tutor profiles) from the current site. 3. Design Polish: Ensure fonts, spacing, and mobile responsiveness are perfect. 4. SEO Preservation: Ensure URL structures remain similar or set up 301 redirects so I don't lose Google ranking. 5. Handover: Connect my domain (academis.com.au) and show me how to make simple edits. Requirements: • Proven experience with Wix Studio or WordPress Elementor. • Strong portfolio showing "aesthetic" or luxury-style websites. • Fluent in English (British/Australian spelling is a must). • Ability to work with existing assets (logos/images) from the live site. I have an existing web app built in Replit with: • Node.js + Express (backend) • Prisma + PostgreSQL (database) • Stripe Connect for payments • DJ & Organiser profiles + event booking logic It has a number of issues, including: • 500 errors when saving DJ profile • Authentication failures (401 on /api/auth/me) • Inconsistent event visibility • Incorrect delete vs deactivate logic • Profile relationships (DJ/Organizer under same user) • Stripe onboarding and payment flows not working fully • Schema migration conflicts I want an experienced backend/full-stack developer to: 1. Fix all bugs so core workflows run end-to-end 2. Stabilise Prisma schema + migrations 3. Clean up routes & error handling 4. Ensure Stripe Connect flows work properly 5. Implement proper soft-delete (deactivate) for profiles 6.
