Looking for an experienced home cook / meal prep person to come to our home once every 2 weeks and batch-cook healthy, homemade meals for two adults. The main focus is African stews and cooked fibre dishes, as these are the most time-consuming things for us to prepare. Each fortnight we’d like approximately 2 large dishes, such as Efo Riro, Pondu/cassava leaf stew, seafood okra and red pepper stew, with enough portions to last us around 2 weeks when frozen. We’d also like 2 protein options (Fish and Chicken) prepared for Week 1 only. We will cook our own proteins during Week 2 and make our own carbs and fresh vegetables throughout the month. We are open to suggestions on how we can label and store/freeze appropriately. We’re looking for someone who is confident cooking West African/African food, understands healthy meal prep and food hygiene, works cleanly and leaves the kitchen tidy afterwards. This would ideally become a regular fortnightly arrangement if we find the right person. Please let me know your experience with African cooking/meal prep and examples of dishes you’re confident making. All the ingredient and food shopping will be done by us.

I’m looking for a reliable, proactive and detail-oriented cleaner to help with my mum’s home on a weekly or fortnightly basis. My mum has limited mobility and is wheelchair/bed-bound, and I currently manage her care alongside cleaning the house, so we’re looking for some additional help. The cleaning would mainly include her bedroom and bathroom, as well as the open-plan kitchen/living area and hallway. We’re looking for someone thorough, reliable and respectful who can help keep these areas thoroughly cleaned and well-maintained.
