I need a qualified locksmith to supply and install a new front door lock at a residential property. The current lock requires a key to both enter and exit, which is a safety concern. I need this replaced with a thumb-turn (keyless exit) lock so the door can be opened from the inside without a key. Requirements: * Remove existing lock * Supply and install suitable thumb-turn / euro cylinder lock (or equivalent) * Ensure the lock is compliant with UK fire safety standards (easy exit from inside) * Ensure door closes and locks securely after installation * Provide keys for external access Property type: Residential house Location: SE19 Timing: As soon as possible (urgent) Additional notes: * Please confirm what lock type you will supply * Experience with locksmith work preferred (not just general handyman) * Receipts/invoice required Not sure what the going rate for this is so I’ve just put £20 so I can post. Hi, I need someone to help open a door where the lock cylinder has already been drilled out and mangled (see image.png). The heavy lifting is done—the cylinder is sacrificed. I just need a professional or someone with the right mechanical tools to reach the internal tailpiece/cam to retract the bolt and get the door open. Once open, I’ll need the old hardware removed and a new cylinder installed (which we can discuss if you provide the part or if I grab one). Since the lock is already open for manipulation as shown in image.png, I’m looking for a quick, straightforward mechanical release. Please let me know your offer for the opening and the install.

I'd like to install a new door, the old one has had many attempts to fit it properly to the point where it just does not. The lock has also been changed so many times that its near impossible to place a mortice lock on there now.
