Hello, We require an URGENT call-out from an experienced locksmith or a skilled handyman to supply and replace a broken door handle at our retail store, in Westfield Southland. The Issue: The lever handle on our internal optometry room door has completely snapped off, rendering the door unusable. The door cannot be closed, which is a major privacy and operational issue as the room is used for confidential patient consultations. The internal mechanism appears to be completely broken. The Job: The task is to replace the entire broken handle set with a new, durable unit. The scope of work includes: 1. Supplying a new, like-for-like replacement door handle set. The required style is a commercial-grade, black lever handle on a round rose. 2. Carefully removing all remaining parts of the old, broken hardware. 3. Installing the new handle set, ensuring it is securely fastened to the door. 4. Testing the door thoroughly to confirm it latches securely and the handle is solid and operates smoothly. *Please note: The successful contractor MUST supply the new replacement door handle set. The cost for this hardware must be included in your final offer. Requirements: - MUST have experience with installing commercial door hardware and locksets. - You must supply all your own tools AND the new replacement handle set (as mentioned above). - Ability to work cleanly and professionally within a live retail environment. - Public liability insurance is required.
