I am working on launching a website (already own domain) using Squarespace.com. I am finding the process quite frustrating and counterintuitive (eg, can not add text boxes when I want, as sections are locked down). In the past, clearing storage off my iPhone and MacBook has been a time consuming task. I still have my photo library on my old MacBook. I have my MacBook backed up on two hard drives. I need someone with high level Apple tech experience to help me set up a system to manage photos, and help me safely remove the large amount of system data and iOS files on my Mac. E.g safely back up photos directly from my phone / iCloud to a hard drive, and how to most easily look at photos on my computer via a hard drive without using the Mac’s storage. I have looked at YouTube videos in the past but receive error messages when attempting to implement their advice. For context, I am a new mum and PhD student - so there are big files and many photos to manage! Happy to negotiate price and if this is best done in person I am in Parramatta. To clarify: 1. Move photos library from old laptop to a hard drive connected to my current laptop (I don’t want photos taking up space on my laptop) + system to backup photos once / fortnight. 2. Delete things taking up unnecessary storage on Mac eg 33GB of system data, 13GB MacOS data, 49GB iOS files. Time frame ~2 weeks - no rush but on my to do list!
