Boiler F1 fault after power cut: stuck pressure valve Looking for a plumber or heating engineer in Kew Bridge. Following a power cut in our building, our boiler started showing an F1 fault and we have no hot water. We’re unsure whether the power cut caused the issue. We’ve tried to top up the pressure, but the middle blue valve underneath is stuck and won’t turn. Need someone to inspect the valve, restore the pressure and check the boiler is working. Ideally looking for someone available as soon as possible. Photos available. Please quote for the visit and confirm your availability.

I am looking for someone who can: - connect it to the same water valve as the washing machine’s - change the location of the waste connection to avoid future drainage problems - install/connect the dishwasher once the waste connection is suitable Please only apply if you have experience installing freestanding dishwashers and modifying kitchen plumbing/waste connections. Thanks in advance!

Need a plumber to cap off the hot and cold water feeds to the kitchen sink. The main stopcock isn’t easily accessible, so the water will need to be isolated appropriately. Small straightforward job, ideally needed as soon as possible.

📋 Sump Pump Diagnostic Summary • System Setup: Dual-pump station featuring two KSB Ama-Drainer N 301 SE/NE submersible pumps running in a duty/assist configuration. • Primary Issue: Structural Pipe Failure. The horizontal discharge pipe has fractured and snapped open right at the male threaded adapter entering the basin wall. • Current Behavior: When the pumps run, water cannot exit the basement; it sprays out of the broken horizontal joint and dumps straight back into the pit in an endless loop. • Electrical/Switch Condition: • Both pump motors are fully functional. • The Right Pump is the primary "duty" pump, set at a lower depth to run continuously right now because the water level remains high. • The Left Pump acts as the "assist" pump, wired to kick in only when the water level becomes excessively high and the right pump cannot manage the volume. It shuts off correctly when its float lever is manually forced down. • Root Cause of Break: The horizontal pipe run appears to have been cut slightly too long, creating a permanent downward sagging angle and heavy mechanical stress at the wall fitting until it sheared under pumping pressure. Required Action: The snapped 32mm to 1" threaded reduction joint at the wall bulkhead needs to be cut back, realigned to eliminate the bowing tension, and rebuilt with new solvent-weld fittings.

My shower has good hot-water pressure, but the cold-water side is almost trickling. There is also an existing water/shower pump which may not be working properly. I need an experienced plumber/shower specialist who can identify the cause and fix the issue during the same visit. This may involve checking/replacing the shower cartridge, cleaning a blocked inlet/filter, checking valves/pipework, or removing/repairing/replacing the existing pump if necessary. I am looking for someone who can repair the problem. Please only make an offer if you have experience with low water pressure and mixer/power showers, shower pumps and can supply/install common replacement parts if required.

Hi, we’re looking for an experienced professional plumber who can properly diagnose a drainage/plumbing issue. We’ve already had someone come out, but unfortunately they weren’t able to identify or resolve the problem. The issue is between the upstairs and downstairs plumbing, which share the same waste pipe. When we run the upstairs tap normally, everything seems fine. However, if we pour around three buckets of water or more down the upstairs sink, the plumbing downstairs starts overflowing/leaking from the waste pipe area. I’ve already wet vacuumed the pipes and they appear to be clear, so I’m unsure whether this is a blockage further down the system, a pressure/flow issue, or something to do with how the upstairs and downstairs waste pipes are connected. I’ve attached a video showing exactly what happens downstairs when several buckets of water are poured down the upstairs sink. Would an experienced plumber/drainage specialist be able to come and properly investigate this for us please? Thank you!
