Project Summary for Installers: Bath-to-Walk-In Shower Conversion Current Setup: A 1700mm P-shaped shower bath combo. An old chrome bar mixer shower valve (fed by the boiler) and the lower bathtub taps are mounted on the same tiled wall. The drain is on the left-hand side. The Goal: Completely rip out the existing bathtub and the old shower valve, replacing them with a brand-new walk-in shower enclosure and a new shower unit. Key Requirements: Removal: Safely isolate the water, remove and dispose of the old P-shaped bathtub, dismantle the old shower bar/riser rail, and clear the area.Shower Tray & Screen: Install a 1700mm x 900mm rectangular shower tray on a raised plinth/riser leg kit (raised shower bottom) to ensure easy waste pipe access, along with a single, fixed glass shower screen. Plumbing & New Shower: Fit a brand-new, boiler-fed thermostatic bar mixer shower to the existing wall pipework. Cap off the lower bathtub taps securely inside the wall cavity. Align and connect the waste pipe to the new raised shower tray drain. Wall Finish: Fit concrete-effect waterproof shower wall panels over the entire enclosure area. This will seal the zone, glue straight over the old tiles, hide the bare wall gaps left by the tub, and completely mask the capped bathtub pipework. Materials Note: I will be buying and supplying the main materials directly from B&Q (including the new shower unit, 1700x900 shower tray, tray riser/leg kit, glass screen, concrete wall panels, and structural fitting kits). The installer only needs to supply standard plumbing consumables (pipes, caps, waste joints, and sealants/adhesives).

The pipes are blocked and it’s causing a leakage on the side where the pipes are slightly open. The blockage just needs to be removed and then it should be fixed. The blockage is usually quite big and needs good machinery. The sink is very slow to drain and water comes from the second photo through the white pipe.

I have a Villeroy & Boch wall-hung toilet with a concealed cistern. Water leaks from the toilet area only when flushing. I suspect the flush pipe seal or waste pipe seal may need replacing. I’m looking for an experienced plumber who can: * Identify the source of the leak. * Remove the wall-hung toilet if necessary. * Replace the faulty pipe seals. * Reinstall the toilet and test for leaks. I would prefer to avoid removing or damaging the wooden wall panel. Please provide your best quote, including labour, parts and VAT

Looking for someone to help with two small jobs: • Fit a replacement hot water boiler/unit — replacement is already here (the hot water boiler stopped working under warranty so they’ve just sent out a new one) it just needs swapping over and fitting correctly. • Fit/change the CO₂ SodaStream canister for the same tap. • Take a look at a leaking downpipe by the back door. I think it’s just the fittings/connections that need adjusting or replacing, but it’s too high for me to safely reach. Ideally looking for someone confident with basic plumbing/fittings who can sort all in one visit and has the tools etc. The tap company have told us it’s a simple switch and shouldn’t take more than half hour but we don’t trust ourselves and would prefer a professional. Happy to send photos beforehand if helpful.

We are looking for an experienced kitchen fitter/handyman (or woman!) to remove our existing slimline dishwasher and install a new full-size (60cm) dishwasher in the cupboard space immediately next to it. The job would involve: • Disconnecting and removing the existing slimline dishwasher • Removing/modifying the neighbouring kitchen cupboard/carcass to create a suitable 60cm opening for the new dishwasher • Removing/modifying the back of the cabinet/plinth as required to allow access for the dishwasher hoses and electrical cable • Checking that the worktop remains properly supported once the cabinet is removed, and adding suitable support/brackets/panels if required • Routing/adapting the existing dishwasher water supply and waste connections to the new position (the new position is directly next to the existing dishwasher) • Installing, levelling, connecting and testing the new full-size dishwasher • Ideally removing/disposal of the old dishwasher We would particularly like someone who has experience modifying kitchen cabinets for appliance installation, rather than dishwasher installation alone. Please confirm what insurance cover you hold for this type of work (including any public liability/trade insurance in addition to Airtasker’s standard cover). We can provide more photos and measurements of the existing kitchen/cupboard before the job if needed. Location: Epping, Essex Budget: around £200, but happy to consider quotes depending on what is required and whether materials/disposal are included
