JOB 1 ROOM 1: Install 8-arm ceiling light Remove existing ceiling rose and install a new GoodHome Ghlin spiral ceiling light, leaving it fully wired, mounted, working. Existing ceiling: - Artex/plaster, likely solid masonry - Loop-in wiring, old colour codes (red/black/green-yellow) - Ceiling hole approx. 75mm New fixture- GoodHome Ghlin CL20016D-B: - 1000mm diameter, 155mm drop, matt black metal, 8-arm spiral - Class I (earth required), 8 x E27, max 42W, 240V - Mounts via supplied slotted metal bracket with supplied screws and wall plugs - Push-in terminal block pre-attached (brown/blue/green-yellow) What to bring: - All Tools - 1x junction box (loop-in cables need re-joining separately from the fixture) JOB 2 ROOM 2: Install flush batten holder & use filler for hole Remove existing pendant ceiling rose & replace with a flush E27 batten lamp holder. Ceiling hole needs filling/reducing before mounting as it's larger than the new fitting's base plate. Existing ceiling: - Artex/plaster, likely solid masonry - Loop-in wiring, old colour codes (red/black/green-yellow) - Ceiling hole approx. 90mm New fixture- ElekTek ES E27 Batten Lamp Holder: - Base plate 67mm diameter, fixing holes at 50mm centres (BESA) - Height 54mm, cable entry 17mm - Screw terminals for L/N/E on ceramic insert - Do not fully assemble before wiring (has locking mechanism) What to bring: - All Tools - 1x junction box (loop-in cables need re-joining separately from the fixture) - Filler & tools to reduce ceiling hole from 90mm to under 67mm before mounting - Drill & fixings for BESA mounting at 50mm centres
