I’m looking for an electrician / Ring installer to install two new Ring devices at my house. 1. Ring Floodlight Cam Pro – replace existing garage floodlight I currently have a basic mains powered LED floodlight mounted high up on the external brick wall of my garage (see photo). The existing floodlight is powered by cabling that runs through the garage wall. The white cable shown in the photos ultimately connects to a standard UK mains plug/socket in the garage. I would like the existing floodlight removed and replaced with a Ring Floodlight Cam Pro (latest generation). The existing electrical supply is therefore already in approximately the correct location, but I don’t know whether the existing cable, connection method or circuit is suitable for the new Ring Floodlight. The floodlight is fairly high up the wall. 2. Ring Wired Video Doorbell 2K – replace existing Ring doorbell I already have an older wired Ring doorbell installed at the front door. It uses the original house doorbell wiring for power, so there is already low-voltage wiring at the doorbell position. I would like the old Ring removed and replaced with the latest Ring Wired Video Doorbell 2K. I will supply both Ring devices. Your quote should include all of the below: * Labour for both installations * Minor electrical fittings/cable/connectors required for a normal installation * Any additional cost you anticipate if the garage floodlight supply needs modifying if possible ? Photos attached showing the existing garage floodlight, cable route and access from inside the garage. Looking for someone with experience installing Ring/security cameras and who is suitably qualified to carry out any necessary 230V electrical work. I’m looking for someone experienced with roller blinds and curtain rail installation to complete the window dressing on my projected bay window. Blinds: Install 3 roller blinds, one for each window pane/section. The blinds are to be ceiling mounted on the ceiling/soffit of the projected bay, rather than mounted directly onto the window frames. Each blind should sit approximately a credit-card width (around 8–10 mm) inside the window pane. 2 mounting brackets are required for each blind (6 brackets in total). The three blinds should follow the shape of the projecting bay, creating the appropriate angled/semi-hexagonal arrangement. Curtain rail: Install a ceiling-mounted curtain rail across the top of the bay. Importantly, the curtain rail should be completely straight, as it is being mounted across the original flat wall above the projecting bay — it should NOT follow the angled/semi-hexagonal shape of the window. The curtains will hang in front of the blinds. Materials: I will provide the 3 blinds, brackets, curtain rail and curtains.
