We’re looking for an experienced commercial audio technician to diagnose and resolve audio clipping/distortion in a busy hospitality venue. Current setup / signal chain: - Dedicated commercial digital music player - Line-level output into Sonos Amp - Sonos Amp output feeding an Australian Monitor IS4250P power amplifier (DSP model) Issue: - occasional yet frequent audible clipping/distortion while music plays - The CLIP indicators on the Australian Monitor amp are triggering, suggesting an issue with gain staging, input sensitivity or DSP settings across the chain. Scope of work: - Diagnose clipping across the full signal path - Correct gain structure between music player → Sonos Amp → Australian Monitor IS4250P - Review input sensitivity, DSP, limiter and protection settings on the IS4250P - Check Sonos line-out levels and EQ / loudness settings - Test system at real service volumes -Lock in a clean, venue-safe “set and forget” configuration - Brief handover of final settings Ideal person: - Proven experience with commercial audio systems (bars, restaurants, clubs) - Strong understanding of gain staging, DSP amps and line-level signals - Familiar with Australian Monitor amplifiers and Sonos Amp setups - Practical and efficient — not overcomplicating the solution Location: South Yarra, Melbourne (on-site) Timing: - Flexible, ideally outside peak service hours Budget: - Open to quotes — please include: -Relevant experience - Estimated time on-site

Existing Sonos system has 4x groups. 2 groups not working, need them to work. There are connect amps etc. viewing the Sonos app it shows. Living room player need registering as register to previous owner. And lower living appears fine but didn’t play any music. Both can’t play through tv or through Spotify etc
