I’m looking for an experienced landscaper to completely transform my back garden. Garden size: approximately 12m × 5m (60m²). Work required * Clear the entire garden of weeds, brambles, bushes and unwanted vegetation. * Remove both trees, including roots where possible. * Remove the wire/mesh and unwanted structure on the right-hand side. * Remove all garden waste, roots and debris. * Level and properly prepare the ground. * Create a 2m-deep patio directly outside the back doors, across the full width of the garden. * Install the stone-look/porcelain patio. * Prepare the remaining area and install approximately 60m² of artificial grass. * Install a completely new approximately 2m-high fence along the right-hand boundary. * Properly level and compact the ground before installing the artificial grass. * Leave the garden clean and tidy when finished. Materials I will purchase and supply all materials myself. This includes the artificial grass, patio/paving, fencing materials, and ground-preparation materials. This is a labour-only job. Please quote for labour and installation only and provide your own tools/equipment. If you can recommend good-quality, reasonably priced suppliers or help me find materials cheaper, that would be appreciated, but it is not required. This task has changed from when originally posted: I need gardening services for one, big back garden. Biggest jobs to be done are: 1. Weeding around the house, down the garden path and side borders - the weeds have completely covered the path down the side of the garden, the gravel area around the house and side path (to side gate). Bramble has taken over and needs to be cut back to give plants space. 2. Mow the lawn (the grass has grown but also impacted from dry heat). 3. The back area of garden needs complete removal of bramble/ or thorny plants. They've taken over. PLS note: A strimmer (or similar gadget) cannot be used to clear the gravel area closest to patio window by house, as we've had glass breakage previously. equipment. * Lawn has been damaged following construction of a garden room. It’s about 120 m sq. * Existing lawn is patchy with some completely bare areas * Some areas have become compacted and uneven * Several holes/dips need filling and levelling * Looking to renovate the existing lawn rather than lay new turf * Work required: * Remove dead grass/thatch and any remaining building debris * Aerate/decompact the lawn, particularly heavily trafficked construction areas * Loosen/prep completely bare areas ready for reseeding * Fill deeper holes and depressions with screened topsoil * Level the lawn using 70/30 sand/soil lawn dressing * Use a lawn levelling rake/lute to improve the overall levels * Overseed the whole area, with heavier seeding on bare/damaged areas * Apply suitable new-lawn/autumn fertiliser * Firm/rake seed into the surface * Initial watering * Remove and dispose of all waste generated * We would like a hard-wearing lawn suitable for children and a dog * We are considering using Barenbrug RPR Sport grass seed and are happy to supply this ourselves * Potentially the work will be done in two halves of approximately 75m² each, allowing us to fence one half off while it establishes * We can discuss whether both halves should be prepared at once or completed a few weeks apart * Please quote for labour and indicate whether you can supply the screened topsoil, 70/30 lawn dressing and fertiliser * Please only respond if you have experience renovating/levelling and reseeding lawns.
