Regular Balcony & Terrace Gardener (Ongoing) I’m looking for a reliable gardener with an eye for detail to help maintain my rooftop balcony and herb garden on a regular basis. This is an ongoing role (typically every 2–4 weeks, depending on the season) for someone who enjoys keeping outdoor spaces healthy, tidy and looking their best. The Space * Rooftop balcony / terrace * Under 50 m² * Green waste bin available * Mix of ornamental plants, flowers and herbs Responsibilities * General garden and balcony maintenance * Weeding and removing dead or damaged plants * Seasonal planting of flowers and herbs * Replanting or repotting plants as they outgrow their containers * Refreshing potting soil and adding fertiliser where appropriate * Pruning and deadheading plants to encourage healthy growth * Maintaining and caring for the herb garden * Monitoring plant health and identifying pests or diseases * Setting up, maintaining and troubleshooting the irrigation system * Adjusting watering schedules depending on the weather and season * Sweeping and tidying the terrace after gardening work * Advising on suitable plants that will thrive in a sunny, exposed rooftop environment * Letting me know if any plants need replacing or if additional materials are required About You I’m looking for someone who: * Has experience with container gardening and balcony planting * Is knowledgeable about seasonal planting and plant care * Can work independently and proactively * Takes pride in creating attractive outdoor spaces * Is reliable and looking for an ongoing arrangement If you have experience maintaining balconies, terraces or rooftop gardens, I’d love to hear from you.
