I’m looking for online advice to help me convert my front lawn into a Western Australian native garden. The area is around 12m x 12m and currently lawn. I would like to do the physical work myself. I’m after guidance on layout, plant selection and spacing using WA natives, plus advice on soil prep and sequencing. I’m keen on a low maintenance, drought tolerant and natural looking garden rather than anything formal. I’m also interested in adding a small wildlife friendly pond and would appreciate advice on whether that’s suitable and how to approach it. I’m happy to share photos, measurements and any other info needed.

I’m looking for an experienced landscaper or handyman to complete a small, simple landscaping job at my property in Wattle Grove. Scope of work: 1. Pebble areas (front/side): • Clear top soil • Supply and install weed mat • Install plastic or metal edging to separate from lawn • Supply and lay approx. 1.5 tonnes of 20mm grey aggregate or similar • Level and tidy finish 2. Mulch areas (rear/side): • Light ground preparation • Supply and install hardwood mulch (approx. 1–1.5 m³) 3. Planting: • Supply and plant Lomandra (approx. 6–10 plants) • Spaced neatly along front area only • No trees required 4. Pressure washing: • Pressure wash concrete areas (side path / small paved areas) Notes: • Job is relatively small • Easy access • Materials and labour included in quoted price • Looking for clean, neat, low-maintenance finish suitable for a rental property
