Please see NB update lower in description. I’m looking for someone with a large van to drive with me to Dronfield and back to Lewisham (same day) to collect furniture that I purchased from an auction. The full list isn’t 100% confirmed yet, but it will likely include larger items like a chest of drawers, outdoor furniture set, side tables, chairs, etc. — so a spacious van is important. I’ll be helping with loading/unloading, but if you’d prefer to bring a second person, I’m happy to add an extra £50 for the additional help. Offering £150 + cost of petrol. Just to clarify a few things as I’ve been getting a wide range of quotes — the auction house has offered delivery for £200, so I won’t be considering offers significantly above that. At the moment, I’m offering £250 all-in (including petrol) for someone with a large van to drive with me to Dronfield and back. This is not a heavy lifting job — I will be there to help, and the items are generally not very heavy, just a bit bulky. Right now, the order actually only includes two smaller items. Closer to the time, if I do end up adding more pieces, I’m very happy to agree a fair additional amount with whoever takes the task — but it won’t involve a huge increase as it’s unlikely to add much extra work. Just looking for someone reliable with a suitable van — thank you 👍
