This is a Painting & Decorating DPS / Tender Contractor Opportunity for experienced painting and decorating contractors who are interested in receiving information and potentially participating in future tender opportunities. The opportunity may cover interior and exterior painting and decorating works, including preparation of surfaces, walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors, windows, skirting, facias, soffits and other associated decorating works. Contractors may be required to demonstrate relevant experience, competence and ability to deliver painting and decorating services to an appropriate professional standard. Paint exterior of maisonette – full preparation & repainting Exterior painting required on the maisonette shown in the photos. The existing red paint is faded/flaking in places, so I’m looking for someone experienced with exterior painting who can properly prepare the surfaces before repainting. Work required: * Scrape/sand down loose or flaking existing paint * Fill/prepare surfaces where required * Repaint all of the currently red-painted exterior areas in grey * Refresh/repaint the existing white-painted exterior areas in white * Two coats where required for a clean, durable finish The grey colour is likely to be Sandtex Plymouth Grey, although the exact paint/colour will be confirmed before work starts. I will supply the paint. Exact quantities can be agreed with the painter beforehand. The work includes the exterior walls around the entrance and stairs, first-floor balcony/parapet areas and the other painted masonry visible in the photos. Looking for someone who can provide a neat, professional and durable finish rather than simply painting over the existing surfaces. Budget around £700, but happy to consider offers roughly £600–£800 depending on experience, reviews, preparation required and what is included. Free parking available. Painting metal garden bistro set - table and two chairs. I will be providing the paint (for metal). A metal primer is required after sanding to stop the rust from bleeding through so please supply. The work can be done entirely outside in my garden, so you don't need to worry about transporting the furniture.
