The Details Date: 4th April Time: 9 am to 3 pm Location: Gordon, Canberra The Tasks I’m looking for someone to help with the "flow" This generally includes: Kitchen Support: Plating up snacks, heating through finger foods, and keeping the bench space tidy. Drinks: Making sure guests would have what they need. General Tidying: Clearing away empty plates or glasses throughout the time. End of the day: Loading the dishwasher and a quick wipe down of the main surfaces before you head off. About You You don’t need professional hospitality experience, but you should be someone who is comfortable in a kitchen and happy to jump in where needed without being asked every five minutes. We are having a small function with about 30 people. Dinner is catered for, but they don't do clean up after people have eaten. We're looking for someone to come for 2 hours to clear plates from the table after dinner, wash and dry the dishes. Help serve cake, collect dishes and wash up after dessert. Also fill water jugs between, if time allows. We would like you to be dressed in simple, all black clothing. We'd like you to come by the day before to familiarise yourself with where everything is, but it's not essential. Experience in hospitality would be amazing.
