I’m looking for a qualified electrician to complete a full installation of a Ring Wired Video Doorbell Pro (newest generation). There is currently no existing doorbell wiring, so I need new wiring installed from scratch, along with installation of a Ring DIN Rail Transformer (as recommended by Ring for properties without compatible doorbell wiring). The electrician will need to supply and install the Ring DIN Rail Transformer as part of the job. The doorbell should then be fully installed, connected, tested, and working. Please provide a quote including all labour and any electrical materials required. Thank you!

I’m looking for someone experienced with timber sheds/summerhouses to assess and potentially repair a leaking 7x7 Shire Hampton summerhouse. We built it ourselves during lockdown in 2021. It originally cost around £700, so I’m trying to make a sensible decision about whether it is worth repairing or whether it would be better to take it down and start again. At the moment it is leaking and there is visible internal water damage/staining. I’d like someone to inspect the structure properly and advise whether it can be made watertight, reboarded where needed, and made solid enough for a qualified electrician to fit power at a later stage. I am not asking for electrical work as part of this job. I need the timber structure made dry, sound and suitable enough before electrics are even considered. The job would involve: - checking the roof, frame, internal boards, sides, base and any signs of rot - identifying where the water is getting in - advising honestly whether repair is financially sensible - reboarding damaged areas if viable - strengthening/weatherproofing the structure where needed - making the building properly watertight if repair is realistic I’m happy to provide materials once the right person has advised what is needed. I do not want to spend heavily on it if it is no longer worth saving. I’d much rather have an honest view than pay for a patch job that doesn’t last. Photos show the summerhouse, roof area, side access and internal water damage.
