Seeking a qualified electrical assessor/electrician to review several electrical items that were stored in a basement and affected by flooding. The purpose of the assessment is to provide a written report/letter confirming that the items are not safe or suitable for continued use due to water exposure, for insurance claim documentation. Items requiring assessment: • LG OLED TV 55” • Soundbar • Portable Bose speaker • ADSL modem • Microsoft Surface tablet Items have been removed from the affected area and can be clearly identified. Clear photos, serial details, and background information are available to support the assessment. Requirements: • Licensed electrician or suitably qualified electrical assessor • Experience with insurance or damage assessments preferred • Ability to advise whether an onsite inspection is required, or if a documented assessment based on provided information is sufficient • Ability to issue a brief written letter/report (including licence details or letterhead) Looking for someone efficient, practical, and familiar with insurance claim requirements.
