So our blog needs to look awesome. *Scope of work* - Evolve a base blog design into refined index and post templates - Shape the reading experience through typography, layout, and spacing - Define responsive behavior and media treatment - Implement the final designs directly in Haml/ERB, SCSS, and minimal JavaScript (progressive enhancement) - Deliver production-ready work via a focused feature branch and pull request *Technical context* - Dato CMS - Ruby + Sinatra - Haml / ERB - SCSS - Light jQuery usage - Server-rendered, content-first site *Profile* This engagement is a strong fit for someone who: - Is designer-first, with a well-developed visual and typographic sensibility - Is comfortable making and standing behind design decisions - Values clarity, durability, and restraint over trend-driven complexity - Has shipped real production work spanning both design and front-end implementation *Practical details* - Timeline: approximately 4–6 weeks - Budget: fixed or hourly; open to proposals based on scope and experience
