Title: CAD Designer / Product Engineer for Beverage Dispenser Concept Description: I’m looking for a skilled mechanical/product engineer to help fully develop a new countertop beverage dispenser concept. This isn’t just a cosmetic design – it needs to be properly engineered to function safely and reliably. Key areas include: Designing for stability (e.g. counterweighting, safe center of gravity) Ensuring correct spout-to-tray clearance for standard glassware Making the reservoirs removable and washable Optimising for injection molding and food-safe materials What I’ll provide: Concept sketches/mock-ups and reference products Target capacity and usability requirements Rough size/dimension guidelines What I need delivered: 3D CAD files (STEP/IGES) suitable for manufacturer quoting 2D technical drawings with tolerances Exploded assembly drawing Basic material/manufacturing recommendations (plastics, seals, counterweight, etc.) Files ready for prototype production (3D print or CNC) Experience required: Mechanical or product engineering background (consumer products preferred) Understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacture) for injection molding Prior work on small appliances, beverage equipment, or food-safe products is a bonus
