I am looking for a metal fabricator to create a custom-fit, removable cover for an ice well in my kitchen island. The purpose is to use the surface as a glassware drying rack. Key Specifications: Dimensions: The well is 740mm (length) and 145mm width so will need to cover that and have a few mm on all sides to cover over the edge. Ideal Material: Marine Grade Stainless Steel (must be rust-proof). Thickness: 2 mm to 3mm and must be rigid enough to support a full load of glassware without bowing. Happy to take guidance on grade and thickness. Design: Drop-in Flange: A small lip (approx. 10-15 mm on all sides so the tray sits securely on the countertop. See attached photo for the ideal design. Perforation: Round perforated drainage holes throughout the main body. Lifting Mechanism: Two oval finger holes positioned in the dead-center of the tray, spaced for a "pinch-grip" lift (thumb and forefinger) similar to the existing openings shown in the second photo, to allow easy lifting and removal of the cover. Finish: Brushed finish to match standard kitchen appliances. All edges must be deburred and polished smooth to prevent scratching the stone or glassware. Requirements: Please provide photos of previous custom stainless steel work. Quote should include materials, fabrication, and delivery (although if you are close to where I live I am happy to pick up). Must be able to provide a clean, high-end finish suitable for a modern kitchen. More specific: Style: Drop-in tray with a 15 mm lip to sit on top of the stone benchtop. Drainage: Laser-cut perforated hole pattern (staggered round holes). Lifting Handle: Two oval slots in the center separated by a solid 15mm "bridge" for a one-handed pinch grip. Finish: Brushed finish, all edges must be deburred and rounded (no sharp edges). Material: 2.5mm or 3mm thick 316 Stainless Steel for rigidity.

Supply to Noosa, Queensland We’re looking for a skilled carpenter or cabinet maker to build and supply a custom timber bench/shelf to sit on top of an existing reception desk. This bench will be used daily for keyboards, mouse use, and writing, so it needs to be solid, stable, and well-finished. Specifications • Overall height: 30 cm • Depth: 45 cm • Width: 67 cm • Internal shelf: • Positioned approximately halfway up (around 15 cm from the base) Material & Finish • Preferably a nice hardwood timber (exact species and colour not critical) • Thickness should be sturdy enough to comfortably withstand typing and writing • Clean, professional finish suitable for a reception environment Build & Delivery • To be made off-site (at the tasker’s workshop/home setup) • Delivered ready-made on-site to Noosa Heads, QLD • All materials to be supplied by the tasker Other Details • We already have an existing one made that can be referenced for guidance if needed • The unit should arrive fully completed and ready to place on the reception desk If you have experience with custom timber furniture, reception desks, or cabinetry, we’d love to hear from you. Need someone to make wooden backdrops for my events business & portable bar. 😊 Backdrops differ in shape & size, but all need to be foldable and easily transported. The bar again must be foldable, easily assembled and packed down, just Keep everything as light & simple as possible. All that’s really needed for the projects is wood sheets, hinges, tools! Highlighting these are all for my events business so there is no specific time period I need it all done by, but sooner is best. My offer included cost of making everything & your labour :) Not so familiar with tools myself and would just be really helpful if someone could get it done for me as I don’t have the time! Thanks ☺️
