Hi! I’m looking for someone with landscaping design experience to help design my backyard layout for a newly built home in Adelaide. This is a design-only task (no construction required) and can be completed either in-person or online/remote. The goal is a modern, clean, and visually appealing backyard that suits Australian living, guided by simple and calm design principles rather than a strict theme. Design approach: - Modern backyard with clean, simple lines - Influenced by Scandinavian and Japanese design principles (simplicity, balance, restraint) - Open to modern Australian interpretations - Not looking for a fully themed Japanese garden - Includes grass for openness and family use Colour palette: beige, white, green, with soft pink/white floral accents Strong focus on aesthetics – a backyard that is beautiful to look at and photographs well, while remaining practical Requirements: - Space for entertaining - Kid-friendly layout - Use of the existing retaining wall - Small vegetable growing area - Space for a clothesline Nice to have: - Subtle Japanese-inspired plants or a feature tree (e.g. Anemone or prunus style tree) - Small firepit or outdoor gathering area Site details (approx.): - Main lawn/soil area: 12m x 4m - Side entry: 2.5m x 3m - Pergola: 4m x 3m - Existing paved area: 6m x 3m Deliverables: - Concept layout or zoning plan - Plant and material suggestions - Practical, budget-conscious ideas Photos, site plans, and measurements will be provided once the task is accepted. The TPS must include: a) Details of Tree Protection Zones, as per AS4970-2025, for all trees to be retained on the site and for all trees on neighbouring properties (including public open space trees) where any part of the Notional Root Zone falls within the subject site b) Tree protection measures to be utilised and at what stage of the development they will be implemented c) Appointment of a project arborist detailing their role and responsibilities d) Stages of development at which the project arborist will inspect the tree protection measures; and e) Monitoring and certification by the project arborist of implemented tree protection measures. Before any works associated with the approved development, a project arborist must be appointed and the name and contact details of the project arborist responsible for implementing the endorsed TPS must be submitted to the Responsible Authority. The TPS must include a Tree Protection Plan (TPP) in accordance with AS4970-2009 Protection of Tees on Development Sites. The TPP must: a) Be legible, accurate and drawn to scale b) Indicate the location of all tree protection measures to be utilised c) Include the development stages (demolition, construction, landscaping) where all tree protection measures are to be utilised; and d) Include a key describing all tree protection measures to be utilised.

I’m looking for someone who can help with weekly meal preparation to make my weekdays a bit easier. I don’t have strict dietary requirements — I just want to keep eating good, nourishing food without the mental load of planning and cooking during a busy period. What I’m looking for: • Around 3–4 meals per week, divided into 10–12 portions for lunches and dinners • Meals cooked in your own space, with me collecting them (open to discussion if needed) • Someone who can either do the shopping or provide a shopping list for me to organise A few questions for anyone interested: • Do you usually prepare meals in your own kitchen or the client’s? • Are you comfortable handling the shopping? • If you’ve worked with similar weekly setups before, could you provide a rough estimate of the typical weekly cost?
