Looking for a waiter with basic food prep skills for my 40th birthday party. Located at a private home in Thornbury, required from 6.45pm to 9pm. Event starts at 7pm. All food will be pre-cooked — I just need someone to microwave, assemble and circulate serving guests. It’s a cocktail-style event, so you’ll be roaming with platters throughout the night. Food is simple and easy, mini cheeseburgers, skewers and pasta. It would be great if you could bring a serving tray to roam with. We’re hosting a 21st birthday party at our private property and are looking for one reliable, friendly event assistant to help the evening run smoothly. This is not a formal waitstaff role — more general support so the hosts can enjoy the celebration. Duties include: -Keep grazing tables topped up and tidy -Assist with serving and managing the slider station during main food service -Clear used plates and glasses -Monitor and empty rubbish and recycling -Refill water stations and ice as needed -wash and top up glasses as required -Light pack-down of food areas toward the end of the night -ensure toilet is clean and stocked There will be approximately 60 guests, and the hosts and family will also be helping.
