Hi! I need an experienced handyman or carpenter to help install hardware on a new flip-top "desk-to-dining" table. (Search “Transformer Table Dining Table to Desk” for your reference.) Desk Specifications: * Material: 18mm thick, high-density solid wood panel (E0 non-toxic grade). * Structure: Heavy-duty, solid wood lid (holds up to 150 kg overall). What I Need Done: * Monitor Rail Installation: Mount a low-profile horizontal VESA monitor rail directly into the existing flip desk - inside face of the 18mm solid wood flip lid (for a 27-inch monitor) to achieve a sleek, Transformer Table style setup. * Safety Features: Advise on the need to install gas struts or soft-close hinges so the flip lid opens/closes smoothly and stays securely when open. * (Good to have) Acoustic Felt: Install removable acoustic felt panels on the inside of the flip-up cover to dampen sound during meetings. Location / Work Setup: * Work from Home/Workshop Welcome: If it’s easier or more precise for you to take the unattached flat pack to your own workshop to do the drilling and mounting, you are very welcome to do so! Please let me know your experience with solid wood mounting and furniture hardware installation when making an offer!

Hi, I need a handyman to repair a heavy-duty kitchen pan drawer that has dropped on one side at my home in SM2.The issue is that the holes in the carcass have elongated such the drawer cannot be properly adjusted any longer. I do have a brand-new set of replacement runners ready to go if required, but I think the cabinet carcass just needs some minor wood reinforcement (like using alternative track holes or packing the stripped holes) to secure the new runner flat and level.Could you let me know your availability this week and a quick estimate for this fix ? Repair water-damaged under-sink kitchen cabinet I have an under-sink kitchen cabinet that was damaged by a previous water leak. The leak has been fixed. I’m looking for someone to: * Inspect the damage. * Recommend the cheapest practical repair. * Either replace the damaged cabinet base or install a waterproof liner/cover if that’s a suitable long-term solution. * Treat any remaining mould if required. * Remove and refit the pull-out recycling bin if necessary.
