Looking for an experienced painter/decorator to repair and repaint a kitchen ceiling following a historic water leak (leak is now fully stopped and area is dry). Dimensions - Approx. 10’10” x 9’2” (3.3m x 2.79m) plus top perimeter wall edge. Scope of Work... * Prep & Repair - Scrape back blown/flaking plaster and paint around the historic water stain area. * Stain Blocking - Apply stain-blocking primer/sealer (provided) to ensure no bleed-through. * Filling/Sanding - Fill, smooth, and sand any damaged areas to a seamless finish ready for paint. * Painting - Apply 2 coats of kitchen ceiling paint (provided). Please see pictures. I need a handyman to handle a few minor cosmetic repairs at a rental property I have moved out of. Because I am no longer at the property, I need someone who can supply their own budget materials/fillers and handle the job independently. The job consists of the following tasks: Wall & Hole Repairs: Repair approx. 15 small screw holes (fill and sand) and approx. 15 spots where adhesive hooks peeled the paint (fill and sand smooth). Soot / Heat Stain Repair: Wipe down and paint over a small area of soot staining on a wall. Requires a quick coat of stain-blocking primer so it doesn't bleed through the touch-up paint. Door Repair: Remove a small metal bracket latch from a painted door. Fill and sand the remaining screw holes. Window Sill Burn: Repair a small burn mark on a painted wooden window sill (needs wood filler, sanding, and touch-up paint). Laminate Floor Repair: Touch up a small surface burn mark on laminate flooring using a hard wax or resin floor repair kit. Materials: Please include the cost of basic fillers, sandpaper, a small amount of stain-blocking primer, and the paint. Looking for a neat, flat-rate, budget-friendly finish. The paint is egg-shell white.

We require the repainting of the ceiling in our open plan kitchen/lounge, the area is approx 9m x 5m. We recently had a leak through the roof of our building which has discoloured the ceiling. There are also some marks / holes where a hanging unit was removed. The job requires a small area of stain primer, 4 small holes to be filled / plastered, top skirting board to be touched up & full ceiling to be repainted in white.

I need a small ceiling repair completed at an office. There is currently an open access hole in the plasterboard ceiling, as shown in the attached photo. Ceiling opening is approximately 450 mm × 450 mm. I would like: * A metal access hatch/panel supplied and installed over the existing opening. * The hatch must be hinged/openable and closable, with a simple secure latch. * Ideally a neat, flush-fitting white metal access panel suitable for a commercial office ceiling. * Any minor making-good around the opening required for the hatch installation. * The existing water staining/discolouration around the opening and surrounding ceiling to be prepared and repainted. * Stained areas should ideally be treated with a stain-blocking primer first so the marks do not come back through the new paint. * Ceiling paint to be matched as closely as reasonably possible to the existing white finish. * All materials, labour and clean-up included. The source of the previous water staining is being dealt with separately - this task is for the access hatch installation and cosmetic ceiling repair/painting only. Please provide your best fixed price including materials. I am looking for a cost-effective solution rather than anything bespoke or decorative. If possible, please also state: 1. I’d like this corner display cabinet refinished from its current light wood colour to a dark walnut finish, similar to the second reference image. The cabinet has glass panels and built-in lighting, so I want the existing glass, lights and internal fittings kept intact. The aim is to give the exterior wood a richer, darker mid-century look while keeping the finish clean and natural rather than overly glossy. The cabinet is currently assembled, so the job would ideally include: * preparing/sanding the existing finish * applying a dark walnut stain or suitable furniture finish * protecting the glass and lighting during the work * finishing/sealing the wood so it is durable and even * I’m happy to supply/pay for the required materials once we agree the best products and finish. I’m renovating a bedroom approximately 3.8m × 2.6m and would like the room professionally prepared and painted. One area beside the window currently has mould/damp damage and significant peeling/flaking paint. The underlying moisture issue will be investigated and resolved separately before decorating begins. I’m looking for a decorator to provide a proper finished surface rather than simply painting over the existing walls. I would like to get the wooden planks from my balcon cleaned. I need the 5 pot of plants and a few other items moved first, fix any loose nails, clean the wood planks and repaint or wood stain / treatment. As I'm on 11th floor, pressure washing is not an option as it will impact my downstairs neighbours.
