The wall: Plasterboard, 4.3m wide x 2.18m at the tallest point, with a sloping ceiling. Two electrical sockets on the wall. Supplied by me: 8 Acupanel slat panels (2400 x 600mm) and one matching end trim. Scope of work: 1. Measure and mark out the wall, agreeing the panel layout with me before cutting. 2. Cut all panels to height (max 2.18m), with angled cuts on the panels under the slope so they follow the ceiling line neatly. 3. Cut one panel lengthwise to finish the 4.3m width. 4. Cut neat openings for the two sockets and bring the faceplates forward so they sit flush with the panels. Power to be isolated while the faceplates are off. 5. Fix panels with grab adhesive plus black screws through the felt, into the studs where possible. 6. Fit the end trim to the [left / right] edge, cut to height. 7. Make sure slats line up level across the joins, with no visible gaps between panels or at the ceiling line. 8. Clear up and take away offcuts and dust. Please bring: Fine-tooth saw or track saw, multi-tool or jigsaw for socket cut-outs, stud finder, level, grab adhesive, black screws, and longer faceplate screws or spacers for the sockets. Timing: About one day's work. Photos attached showing the wall, the slope and the socket positions.

Looking for a general handyman / decorator to come around and fix a light fixture that now has a hole in it when a chandelier was recently fitted. It needs to be re-plastered to cover the gap and screw holes. However, there are also a number of other jobs I need doing around the house at a later date - i'm looking for a recurring handyman who can sort some small and larger jobs. The chandelier is not urgent, so if the job cannot be done tomorrow that is fine. However, if someone was around to come tomorrow afternoon my dad will be at my home and wants to discuss a list of possible works with someone while he is there. Hence the short notice! Thankyou - Juliet
