The engine has perfect electricity and wants to run, but the wire delivering power to the fuel pump at the back of the car is , I need an auto electrician to look at my 2018 MG ZS EK18 XMG. It turns over but won't start. The RAC already tested it and bypassed the wiring to power the fuel pump directly from the battery, and the pump runs perfectly. But for some reason, the car itself isn't sending any power to the pump's plug at the back. I need someone who can check the wiring or the body computer to see where the signal is dropping out under the bonnet. Let me know when if you can take a look. completely dead. The breakdown mechanic proved this by bypassing the dead wire with a temporary power line, which instantly made the car start and run perfectly. Because that line is completely dead, the fuel pump cannot turn on to push petrol to the engine. The only way the car runs right now is by using that temporary wire to force electricity straight into the connector

I’m looking for a car mechanic to inspect a used vehicle before I purchase it tomorrow. Location: Edgware Road, Colindale if your local even better as you would have to meet me there The inspection should include: * Engine and transmission condition * Suspension, steering and brakes * Signs of accident damage or poor repairs * Fluid leaks and overall mechanical condition * Tyres, battery and electrical systems * OBD diagnostic scan (if available) * Road test * Honest assessment of whether the vehicle is worth buying and any likely upcoming repair costs Requirements: * You must be a qualified/experienced mechanic (not just a car enthusiast). * Experience carrying out pre-purchase inspections is preferred. The inspection is expected to take around 50-90 minutes. Please let me know your availability for tomorrow and your experience with vehicle inspections.
