We’re hosting a small Baptism reception dinner (<50 guests) at a local church hall in Highett VIC 3190 and are looking for one experienced hospitality / event helper to assist with food setup, light serving, cleaning, and pack-down. This is a casual buffet-style event, not formal service. You’ll essentially be an all-round helping hand to keep things running smoothly so the family can enjoy the night. Event details: • 📍 Location: Church Hall in Highett VIC 3190 • 🕕 Start time: 6:45pm • 🕙 Finish time: 10:15pm • ⏱ Approx. 3.5 hours • Guests arrive from 7:00pm • Dinner served approx. 7:30–8:45pm • Dessert + tea/coffee from 8:45–9:30pm Your role will include: Before/during guests arrive (6:45–7:30pm): • Receive catered food delivery (~7:00pm) • Set up buffet table (approx 8 dishes) • Transfer food into buffet dishes • General prep of food / drink areas During dinner (7:30–8:45pm): • Maybe some light serving at one station for first run (e.g. chicken/lamb option) • Clearing tables (plastic plates/cutlery) • Keeping buffet & kitchen areas tidy • Rubbish pickups from tables as needed • Ice / drink top-ups as needed (self-serve) Dessert & coffee (8:45–9:30pm): • Cut and serve cake • Serve tea & coffee to guests • Continue clearing tables and rubbish Pack-down & cleanup (9:30–10:15pm): • Pack leftover food into takeaway containers • Wash any serving dishes/utensils used • Bag rubbish (we will dispose) • Wipe benches, tables, and kitchen surfaces • Light sweep of floors Anything remaining after 10:15pm will be handled by us. Requirements: • Prior hospitality / event experience preferred • Confident serving food and assisting guests • Efficient, tidy, and proactive • Comfortable working independently • Friendly and respectful is a MUST (church/family event) What we provide: • Clear schedule • Cleaning supplies • All food is pre-catered (no cooking) **I will do a brief video call with you prior to the event to meet you & brief discuss

We are looking for a polished waiter or waitress with catering experience to help with a buffet lunch for 50 people at a private home in Cremorne. Hours are 11am-4pm approx. $40 per hour. If you work extra time, we will pay you $40 per hour for it. Guests will self-serve themselves lunch from the buffet and drinks from eskies but we’d like your help: - Heating up food in our oven - Topping up and setting up the food on the buffet station when needed - Topping up drinks when needed - Keeping the bar area tidy (e.g. corks and beer caps in the bin) - Clearing plates and glasses after use - Loading and unloading our dishwasher and putting plates, cutlery and glassware away - General clean up (e.g. putting empty bottles and used paper napkins in the bin). We have hired tables and chairs but we are using our our cutlery, plates and glassware. Thank you!

Cater a 18 guest buffet style dinner, theme is Christmas in July. The usual Christmas foods. Turkey, roast veg, ham, gravy, green beans. Keep it simple and time efficient for yourself e.g. turkey breast roll is fine. No need for a giant presentation turkey. Dessert can be a decorated store bought pavlova. Just cook it in your kitchen and deliver it to Lesmurdie for a 6:30pm dinner. You don't have to stay for the party. Just drop off the food to Lesmurdie in Perth,WA. I just want some basic home cooking but too busy to do it so no need to be too fancy and showy.
