I need a person to be a waiter/waitress for 1 day at my wedding at home. Can be male or female, but must be between 18 and 35 years old. It is a standing buffet party, no cooking needed. Time: 1 PM - 6 PM (5 hours) Date: Saturday, 7 June Rate: 35 AUD per hour (total: 175) Dress code: simple white/black shirt and black pants. Description: - The party starts at 2 PM, but you arrive at 1 PM to start preparing. - Open the door, welcome guests in. (They will ring the doorbell) - Serve guests and answer their questions - Fill up food, drink, ice, dessert, cutlery, etc (from fridge/oven to table). - Basic cleaning, wipe tables, put trash away, fill the dishwasher. - Make sure everything runs smoothly, be neat and clean. - Communicate with me or my husband if anything goes wrong. - Any other small tasks required on the day. Others: - No heavy lifting, no cooking (but you will be asked to warm up the food using oven/microwave). - Be punctual, be nice and patient to our guests. - We have coffee, tea and water for you. You will also have food + 1 dessert to bring home. ESPECIALLY: Must have great attention to detail, actively doing stuff without being asked. Thank you.

In need of 2 Waite staff & 2 Bar staff (RSA needed) 6hrs $25per hr The bar staff need experience in bar work or at least know how to make mimosa, gin mixers etc. Waiters need to help set up buffet, collect plates and glasses from tables and wash plates (dish washer for glasses)then help pack away food after dinner and then set up dessert buffet and then pack away. Looking for experienced wait & bar staff for a 160 person wedding. Held on a private farm in Marong, Victoria. On Saturday October 4th, 2025. Staff needed from 12:30pm to 7:30pm. The layout for food / dining will be open fire meats & spits cooked onsite & carved in front of guests with cold sides, desserts & charcuterie style options provided by a catering service & displayed on buffet style tables settings. There will be tables set up for dining however, with no set, sit down dining times & a mostly self-serve set up, we are looking for staff to help with the following - ~~ Help displaying / serving carved meats from open fire / spit cooked meats, happening on site & in front of guests ~~ General cleaning of plates from tables & cleaning & restocking of sides for buffet / self serve food tables ~~ Some staffing of a single bar set up, for a few hours before & after the ceremony, for wine, beer & spirit options. Although, alcohol will be mostly self serve & available for guests to help themselves on tables staff ~~ Restocking of self serve drink options from cool room & topping up of wines in carafes on tables throughout the event $40 per hour & happy to discuss possible reimbursement for travel.

This for an event - my daughter’s wedding in Starline Alpaca farmstay in the Hunter Valley on the 27th of May. The services are required from 2:00 PM till finish (~10:00PM). The food will be served in buffet system. The tasks are to fill up food into the buffet trays, pickup dishes from tables and wash them, serving plates & cutlery to guests when arriving to pick up food etc.

- casual backyard wedding - 50-60 people including kids - want to capture ceremony and the vibe of the afternoon - no 'getting ready' photos, no bridal party, no going-away to have photos taken elsewhere - vibe will be casual with kids running around, picnic blankets, help yourself bar & buffet, live music - we don't want to go away for photos as we want to spend time with friends and family and are aware this will end up in quite candid / natural shots, so you need to have a good feel for how to capture shots that aren't overly staged.

I am hosting a tea ceremony at a private property in Melbourne CBD. I will have breakfast and lunch catering at my event (which is attended by family and my bridal party).
